Open Society's Global Convening for the Restitution of African Heritage
Abstract :

From 22 to 24 August 2023, Ciraj Rassool, El Hadji Malick Ndiaye and Lotte Arndt participate in a three-day summit on "Open Society's Global Convening for the Restitution of African Heritage".

The three-day summit is hosted by Culture and Art, with feature opening and closing plenary sessions, interactive thematic sessions, performances, and networking opportunities for key stakeholders including, representatives from the African Union, ECOWAS, NGOs, UN agencies, artists, academia, creative communities, civil society and the African diaspora. The summit is organised by the Open Society Foundations and takes palce at the W.E.B Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan African Culture in Accra, Ghana.
